Pronase Enzyme Digestion Kit (Room Temperature)
Pronase (Streptomyces griseus) is a commonly used digestive enzyme. In formalin fixed paraffin-embedded tissues, certain antibody protocols require enzyme pre-treatment for proper immunohistochemical staining. MenaPath Pronase is an aggressive enzyme and can be used at room temperature or at 37°C. Certain antibodies such as EGFR require this type of aggressive enzyme digestion. The Pronase Buffer incorporates ASSURE™ Technology, a colour-coded pH indicator. The end-user can visually inspect the solution and see that the mixture or buffer is at the proper pH for optimum digestion.
